Communications and Knowledge Management Officer
Eddy Rudram is half Thai, British and joined the Youth LEAD team as the Communications and Knowledge Management Officer in March 2018.
Born and raised in Pattaya, Thailand, Eddy has also lived in the UK for over ten years and lived in Oman for a year. He obtained his Bachelor degree with honours from Loughborough University in the UK and also received his Master in International Development with merit from the Global Development Institute (GDI) at the University of Manchester, UK. Eddy wrote his dissertation on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and used critical discourse analysis to argue the extent to which the agenda promotes the concept of inclusivity on LGBTQ issues.
Eddy is particular interested in gender equality, minority rights and also gender and development. Eddy has worked for various LGBTQ organisations in the past and has volunteered regularly at animal shelters and local orphanages. His hobbies include socialising with friends, photography and watching movie/tv marathons.
